Emergency Services
The City of Valdosta works closely with Lowndes County Emergency Management and other local municipalities and governments to prepare for, respond to, and recover from a host of potential hazards and threats that may affect the citizens of our area. The city urges all citizens to have a family and/or business emergency plan and to communicate these plans with your family members and coworkers. Visit the Georgia Ready site for valuable information about being informed, making a plan and staying involved. Visit www.weather.gov/tae for updated information about weather in our area.
