Post-Crime Tips
To report a crime that is in progress, dial 911 for an immediate police response.
Or Call Crime Tip Line: 229-293-3091
The Valdosta Police Department Investigative Bureau welcomes the general public to provide crime tips that will help solve past, present and future criminal activity. It is important to remember that crime prevention is a mutual relationship between law enforcement and the community. It is vital that citizens assist law enforcement by providing information that will help solve past crimes and that will prevent planned criminal activity.
Those who are willing to provide these tips have the option to remain anonymous or to provide information about themselves such as their names, an address and a telephone number where we can and will contact them. When providing information about criminal activity, please be as detailed as possible about the crime, the people involved, the location, the time and date the crime occurred and any other relevant information--as many times, partial information does not help in solving a crime.
To report criminal activity, you may click the online form at the top of this page, call the Crime Tip Line at 229-293-3091, or send a message to any of the law enforcement personnel below.
