Parade/Procession Permit
This form is required for citizens and business groups who are requesting a permit for a parade or any type of procession on the streets or highways of the city. Parades/Processions on state routes are restricted pursuant to Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Additionally, there may be requirements for the applicant to pay for off-duty officers during the event to avoid depleting on-duty police manpower. The form will be submitted electronically to the police department for approval and then forwarded to any other affected department(s) for their review.
Assembly Permit
This form is required for citizens and business groups who are requesting a permit to hold an assembly of individuals within the city limits. The police department mandates that depending on the size of the assembly, the applicant may be required to hire security or off-duty officer to avoid depleting on-duty police manpower. The form will be submitted electronically to the police department for approval and then forwarded to any other affected department(s) for their review.
