Mission:

The mission of the City of Valdosta Engineering Department is to provide expedient technical engineering services and advice to all city departments, administration and to the general public.  This support is related to plan review, public and private inspections, public improvements, subdivisions, street maintenance, grading, drainage, and permitting in relation to improvements within the public right of way and traffic safety.

The Engineering Department has four key divisions:
