Five Pts. & Municipal Auditorium Steering Committee
Purpose
The Five Points and Municipal Auditorium Steering Committee was established to assist the City of Valdosta in Master Planning the Five Points property and the proposed new Municipal Auditorium. The 12-person Steering Committee consists of citizens representing key areas of our community to ensure representation of all the citizens. The role of the Steering Committee is one of outreach to the community to ensure that the City designs and builds what is needed and to guide the process along with City Staff. The facility will not only serve the City of Valdosta but it will also serve the entire county and adjacent communities.
Meetings
The meetings of the Steering Committee were held on August 18, 2011 at 5:00 p.m., September 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., and October 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. All meetings were held in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Valdosta City Hall Annex Building, 300 North Lee Street.
