Purpose
The purpose of the Valdosta Housing Board of Adjustments and Appeals is to consider and determine appeals whenever it is claimed that the true intent and meaning of the Housing Code or any of its regulations have been misconstrued or wrongly interpreted.
Members
The Valdosta Housing Board of Adjustments and Appeals consists of five members all appointed by the City. Board members are appointed based on their knowledge of construction or property management and their experience in community redevelopment. Members will serve a three-year term.

Meetings
The Valdosta Housing Board of Adjustments and Appeals meets on an as needed basis. Meetings will be held at the City Hall Annex Building, Main Street Conference Room, 300 North Lee Street, Valdosta.
Interested in Serving
Any City resident interested in serving on the Valdosta Housing Board of Adjustment and Appeals should submit a completed General Membership Application and a signed Code of Ethics Form to Teresa Bolden, City Clerk, located in the City Manager and Mayor's office in City Hall, 216 East Central Avenue, Valdosta, GA 31601.
