Neighborhood Development

Neighborhood Development programs (Community Development Block Grant, Valdosta Small Emerging Business and the Valdosta/Lowndes County Land Bank Authority) are designed to aid in neighborhood development by providing decent, affordable, and sustainable housing, a suitable living environment, and increased economic development opportunities for low-moderate income citizens of the City of Valdosta.

Neighborhood Development is responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing programs receiving local, state, or federal funding for neighborhood and community revitalization for the City of Valdosta.

Departmental information is available by request in an alternative format. Language Assistance is also available including oral interpretation and written translation services. Please contact the Neighborhood Development staff for further assistance.
