VFD Responds to Structure Fire
On Thursday June 13th, 2024, at approximately 2:16 PM the Valdosta Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 605 Lynn Terrace. The first fire unit arrived within five minutes to find smoke and flames coming from the windows of a single-family residence.
A total of twenty-one fire personnel responded to bring the fire under control. All occupants were able to safely escape prior to the fire department arrival with no reported injuries. One pet was removed after fire personnel gained entry.
A total of six people were displaced and receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.
The Valdosta Police Department and South Georgia Medical Health EMS assisted with on-scene operations.
