Four Graduate from VFD Recruit School

Four of the city newest Valdosta Firefighters will graduate from Recruit School on Thursday, March 24, 2016. The graduation ceremony will take place for the graduates and their family members and guests from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Mathis Auditorium, located 2300 N. Ashley Street.

Recruit School consists of 13 weeks of vigorous fire training, which includes Vehicle Extrication, Haz-mat, Emergency Medical Responder Training and much more.
