LMIG Projects Scheduled to Begin August 18

May be an image of road and text that says 'LMIG REPAVING SCHEDULED VALDOST/ Ûi City Without A'Beginning Wednesday, August 18, the City of Valdosta will repave Brookhaven Drive (from Wainwright Dr to Ridgewood Dr), Beauford Place (from Pinetree Road to Cherokee Ave) and Hickory Drive (from Dogwood Dr to Young Dr). Funds for the project are provided by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG).
 
In total City of Valdosta will resurface 50 city streets (5.12 miles) using funds provided by GDOT and LMIG. Read more information here.
 
The street resurfacing work will consist of curb and gutter repair (if applicable), base repair, milling of existing asphalt, leveling, root removal, new asphalt road course and other related work.
