Water Valve Replacement at East Mary Street & Marion Street Intersection

On Thursday, January 24, and Friday, January 25, at 9:00 a.m., the City of Valdosta will be replacing two water valves located at the intersection of East Mary Street and Marion Street. This work will require the operating of water valves in the area which may cause a drop in water pressure and possible water service interruptions for a period of approximately 3 to 4 hours. 

Traffic control devices will be in place to inform motorists approaching the area during the repair. Notification for the possible interruption in water service will be distributed on January 22, 2019.

Work is scheduled to be completed the same day, weather permitting. Motorists are urged to drive with caution and adhere to the traffic warning signs for their safety and the safety of others.
