Sustella Avenue Closed for Road Repairs, March 14-17

The City of Valdosta Engineering Department has scheduled a road repair on Sustella Avenue, on Tuesday, March 14, at 7 a.m., that is expected to take until Friday, March 17 to complete.

The nature of the repairs will require Sustella Avenue to be closed to vehicular traffic just south of the administrative entrance to the VSU PE Complex. Ingress/egress to the large parking lot located south of the VSU PE Complex will remain open during the duration of the project. Residents on Brookdale Drive will have access to their homes via Baytree Drive, and residents on the south end of Sustella Drive will have access from West Mary and Lamar Streets.

Traffic control devices will be in place to detour traffic around this area.

This work has been scheduled during VSU's Spring Break to minimize the inconvenience to pedestrians and motorists who require travel through this area.
