Regional Transportation Roundtable Forms to Discuss T-SPLOST

Ten counties in our region have passed resolutions to form a Regional Transportation Roundtable for the purpose of proposing a regional sales tax for transportation uses.

The Southern Georgia Regional Commission (SGRC) has announced that the first Regional Transportation Roundtable of 2017 will take place on Monday, April 17, at 1 p.m., at the Pearson Sports and Civic Complex (786 Austin Ave. East) in Pearson, Georgia. Members of the Roundtable include county chairs and one mayor from each county (selected by the cities in that county).

All Roundtable meetings will be open to the public and other stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
