Lane closure scheduled for St.Augustine Rd S and Hemlock St, Aug 29

On August 29, at 8:00 a.m, The City of Valdosta Utilities Department will be excavating the water main at St. Augustine Rd S & Hemlock St.

This work will require the left lane to be closed on S St. Augustine Rd for traffic traveling south.

All south bound traffic will be shifted to the right lane with the flow of traffic.

Traffic control devices will be in place to inform motorists of the lane closure and lane shift.

Work is scheduled to be completed the same day weather permitting. Motorist are urged to drive with caution and adhere to the traffic warning signs for their safety and the safety of others.
