City Office Closed due to Projected Hurricane Helene

Due to projected impacts of Hurricane Helene, all city offices will be closed on Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27. This closure includes the customer service building.

Please remain aware of your surroundings throughout the day. This storm has the potential to have significant impacts to include tornadoes. Those in mobile homes or substandard structures should consider a more substantial location for the duration of this front.  Sand and bags are currently available while supplies last at the following locations: 5 Points, Intersection of Lee Street and Savannah Ave. and the City Lot located at 1025 W. Hill Avenue.  There is a limit of ten bags per family and shovels will not be provided.
