Due to high water conditions, the City of Valdosta and Lowndes County have rescheduled the 6th Annual Mayor and Chairmanā€™s Paddle to Saturday, April 19, 2025

Join Mayor Scott James Matheson and Chairman Bill Slaughter for a beautiful paddle down the Withlacoochee River! Choose your route:
āœ… A relaxed three-mile trip for a laid-back adventure
āœ… An 11-mile paddle for those seeking a longer journey

šŸ“ Location: Troupville Boat Ramp, 19664 Valdosta Hwy, Valdosta, GA 31602
šŸ•— Arrival Time: As early as 8 a.m., no later than 9 a.m.

šŸ’™ Valdosta Boys & Girls Club will bring youth & boats

  • Personal flotation device
  • Boat, paddles, food, and drinking water
  • Warm clothing and a first aid kit
