Free Fall E-Recycling Event

 Location: Valdosta Public Works, 1017 Myrtle Street, Valdosta, GA

 

 The City of Valdosta and Lowndes County Public Works Departments are joining forces to host the Fall Electronics Recycling Event! Dispose of outdated or unwanted electronics and help keep our community green  by keeping e-waste out of the landfill. 

 

The previous E-Recycling event, scheduled for Saturday, November 2, was canceled due to the recovery efforts following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

 

 Accepted Items:
 Cell phones

 Laptops
 Disk & floppy drives
 Cables & accessories
 Camcorders & video machines
 Televisions & CRTs …and more!

 Unaccepted Items:
 Vacuum cleaners
 Washers & dryers
 Gas-powered equipment …and other non-electronic items

 

Since 2006, our e-recycling events have helped save 680,400 pounds (340.2 tons) of electronics from landfills!  Let's keep the momentum going!
