Gornto Road Lane Closures scheduled for Wednesday
In preparation of the 2018 LMIG resurfacing work, Reames & Son Construction will begin root repairs on Gornto Road between Jerry Jones Drive and Oak Street on Wednesday, August 29th beginning at 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Portions of Gornto Road will have lane closures when necessary to make these repairs. This work will begin on Wednesday and weather permitting will end on Friday. Milling and resurfacing will begin on September 4th and will continue until the job is complete; weather permitting. All lanes will be open at the end of the work day.
For the safety of motorists and pedestrians in the area flagmen and traffic control devices will be in place. This repair work may impact the flow of traffic on Gornto Road and an alternate route may be advisable.
