VFD Responds to Structure Fire on Tyndall Drive

On Friday August 30th, 2024, at approximately 06:25 PM the Valdosta Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 3214 Tyndall Dr. The first fire unit arrived within five minutes to find smoke coming from the residence. An aggressive fire attack was executed bringing the fire under control as fire personnel confirmed that all residents were safely outside.

Three residents were displaced and are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.

The Valdosta Police Department and South Georgia Medical Health EMS assisted with on-scene operations.
