VFD Responds to Structure Fire
On Sunday June 16th, 2024, at approximately 09:39 AM the Valdosta Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 1228 Ponderosa Dr. The first fire unit arrived within five minutes to find smoke coming from the rear of the residence. An aggressive fire attack was executed bringing the fire under control as fire personnel confirmed that all residents were safely outside.
A total of four people were displaced and receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.
The Valdosta Police Department and South Georgia Medical Health EMS assisted with on-scene operations.
