Memorial Tree Program
Memorial Trees #6, #34, #46, #56 and #71
The City of Valdosta is pleased to partner with the Valdosta Tree Commission to offer the Memorial Tree Program. The purpose of the program is to celebrate a life or special event, while promoting the importance of planting of trees throughout our community. This program began in 1985 and today includes 93 trees that can be found along city streets, parks, schools, and other public property.
Your gift of $850.00 will be used to purchase a tree and plaque that will be planted and maintained by the City of Valdosta Arbor Division. Once your tree is planted, a picture of the tree and a map of its location will be sent to you.
